Norbert Eller, PhD is the CEO and Founder of Denothex and has spent more than 20 years in clinical development and marketing. Prior to becoming CEO at Denothex, he was co-founder of Pharma Brains, an Austrian-based boutique Clinical Research Organization.
Following his Diploma and PhD at the University of Vienna, Institute of Genetics, Norbert Eller joined Gebro Pharma in 1994 as Clinical Project Manager. In this position he was responsible for the clinical development of a new non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drug. In 1999, he joined Sanofi-Synthélabo Austria in the function as national Clinical Project Leader and Sales Representative for Oxaliplatin, a new anticancer drug against colorectal cancer. In 2001, Norbert Eller joined Bristol Myers Squibb Austria as Product Manager Oncology. From 2002 to 2005, he was working as Clinical Project Manager in a Biotech Company, focussing on immunotherapy of cancer.
Norbert was responsible for the management of several pivotal phase III studies including the coordination of drug approval procedures in Europe. He is experienced in Data Management and Biometrical Analysis. As consultant he was involved in the development of “Drug Development Plans” for new substances in the field Oncology, Pain and Inflammation.
Beside the clinical project management, Norbert Eller was responsible for the development of SOPs for different pharmaceutical companies and organized Data Management Departments including Scientific Writing.
He is author or co-autor of several publications in the fields pain, inflammation, hormonal therapy and oncology.
